At PK Furniture we strive to offer you convenient, efficient and hassle-free choices for collection or delivery of your furniture.
Things to Consider
Before placing your order, please ensure the followings:
Items you intend to purchase will fit in the area you have selected for it.
- Doors, stairwells and other entrance ways (including lifts) are wide enough to allow for access.
Please allow the furniture to be easily taken home in your vehicle or trailer.
When placing your order, please ensure the correct contacts such as phone numbers, e-mail addresses and delivery addresses are provided.
We offer convenient, efficient and hassle-free choices for pick-up or delivery of your furniture.
You can shop online from home and pick your product up from PK Furniture local store for free by choosing Pick-up. Our Customer Service team will arrange the order and contact you to organise collection.
For your protection you will be asked to show an original performa Invoice at the time you pick up your furniture. If not, then please provide ID for verification purposes. Please inspect your furniture carefully prior to pick-up.
If you have purchased larger items, items that are shipped directly from our warehouse, or if you are simply unable to visit PK Furniture store for collection, we are happy to arrange delivery to your nominated address at a time that is convenient for you. Delivery charges apply.
Terms and Conditions for Pick-up, Delivery and Freight
-Please note, the customer must supply their own appropriate transport for any Pick-up purchase. PK Furniture is unable to supply any strapping, rope, or protective coverings for transporting of Pick-up purchases.
-Please inspect furniture carefully prior to pick-up. PK Furniture cannot be held responsible for damages caused after the furniture leaves our premises.
- Warehouse pick up time - Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM. Excludes public holidays.
-Delivery fees will be charged and varies between locations. The delivery service includes upstairs, extra items, however does not include the removal of any packaging the goods may come in or removal of old furniture.
-The delivery service is strictly door to door. PK Furniture will deliver the goods into the customer’s premises if it is safe to do so. Customer will agree to acknowledge safe delivery of the Goods, by signing on the delivery note or such similar document which PK Furniture may require.
-PK Furniture does not provide an exact delivery time, instead, PK Furniture will make a courtesy call in advance (regularly by one hour prior the delivery), but it is the responsibility of the customer to be home to accept the goods as signature is required upon delivery. If no one is available to accept the delivery at the nominated address and time, PK Furniture will be unable to complete the delivery. In those circumstances, PK Furniture will contact the customer to arrange re-delivery and additional charges will apply.
-Please ensure that the access is appropriate for the furniture being delivered. This includes ensuring the doorways are wide enough to fit the product in, the item can fit upstairs or in a lift (if required) and that there is nothing blocking the path of the delivery in hallways, stairs or driveways.
-Next day delivery option available only for purchases made between Mondays to Friday 5:00 PM. Excludes public holidays. For purchases made online on Saturday and Sunday, deliveries are only available weekdays.
-PK Furniture shall not be liable for damages, or for delay in delivery or for failure to give notice of delay when such delay is due to conditions beyond our reasonable control. The Customer agree to accept delivery as soon as the Goods are able to be delivered. Re-delivery charges will apply when a scheduled delivery is failed.
